What are some recent examples of FHSAA suspensions with bench clearing brawls like the one shown in the video

I saw a lot of punches thrown including to players with helmet removed and even heard someone mention something about a playing swinging a helmet as a weapon during the brawl

I cannot remember any specific incidents. I am sure that there are many situations that have been captured on camera, and the FHSAA took action.

Just did a quick Google search and among the first few links:

2020: 10 Wekiva players suspended (one for a year, nine others for five games). Wekiva gets no 2021 spring game and a $500 fine. Mitchell fined $500.

2018: Five Lakewood and three Lehigh players suspended for six weeks. One player for one contest. Lakewood given a $1300 fine and Lehigh $500.

2011: 10 Middleburg players (two out for a year, five for six weeks, three for one game) and 10 Leon players (four out for six weeks, three out for a year, article doesn't mention the other three's suspensions). Undisclosed fines for each school.

And I'll take a wild guess this fight is just as bad as some of the ones on the list so Taylor County and Madison could face serious sanctions

In fact it looked like Taylor County entire bench cleared so they could be in a very tough spot fielding a team if the FHSAA goes hard on the suspensions

I think it's a minimum of 5 games for fighting (I THINK!)

You think,  we will see what happens.  And taylor County just needs to give up scheduling madison. No sense for madison to deal with trash anymore.

That's why I said, "I THINK." I'll check with my referee, coworker, but I think that's the FHSAA minimum. If it's 5, you guys better be glad it's the first 5, KOC ( I THINK COUNTS) and then the next 4.

I don't understand why madison schedules them and sports weird. Jefferson has respect for everyone. Taylor County was acting out when they play blountstown.  Terrible program.

First off I didn't really know their schedule.  However it is funny Columbia was week 9 and I said trash.  Jesse believes you guys are trash for sure.

Yeah but Jesse thinks everyone is trash lol

He will learn when Columbia hands Madison their second home loss in the series in a 3 year stretch

    • With the rise of social media, kids don’t need to be illegally recruited. They know where the hot hand is. They know what coaches have the connections and where the coaches will be at. Plus kids recruits other kids. They all star stack. I’m not saying they should, I’m just saying these kids all attend the same camps, tourneys etc. they talk. They know the process.
    • So your saying if a team has like 15 transfers in one season,  I need to have like a team of investigators and video tape to realize that the coach is recruiting. Come on. The truth is all of the super teams recruit and yes some players come because of the winning culture. I know its impossible to get full proof  on everyone that cheats and even when they do have evidence and catch teams red handed like Winter Park.....NOTHING HAPPENED. Its the reason they should have competitive promotion and demotion so all the super teams who do bend (CHEAT) the rules get to beat each other up.
    • I’m not saying it doesn’t occur. What I am saying is that everything is case by case so if you are accusing a specific coach/team of cheating, I would at least like to see the evidence of the accusation. Because if you don’t then you are basically defaming them with gossip
    • Are you saying illegal recruiting does not occur in Florida ?     Wake up and take your blinders off
    • Dang shame. Wonder what it was about. Wonder if the principle was meddling out of his element.    There was a story near me about Land O Lakes High. Before the season, 2 freshman were slap boxing and other kids were filming it. One kid was obviously winning over the other with the kids in the background cheering it on. So when it got leaked, it was interpreted as hazing. As if all the kids in the background were sanctioning it.    Without one second of investigation the principal shut the entire football program down. Varsity season cancelled over 2 freshman slap boxing. It caused a shit storm. Local news swarmed the school. Parents outraged. Protesting outside the office demanding the principal be fired.    They finally asked some quick questions and it was determined to be exactly what it was originally said it was. Football was reinstated but JV missed the first game over it.    The principal was some punk pencil neck who looks like he never played a sport in his life and many people came out and said he had it out for the football program and he was the same way at his old school.    I say all that to say is this a similar case of some pencil neck principal who never played sports trying to undermine and butt in to something that they are way out their element on?
