How does Palmetto drop 3 spots after homestead & lakewood w’s? but cardinal newman rises? I don’t understand that 1

Cardinal Newman wasn’t ranked before. Sometimes when teams jump up the rankings teams above them will naturally fall. Edgewater jumped over them pushing them down one, as well as Naples with their dominant win over Dillard, and Newman after their demolition of Belen.

Palmetto struggled with Lakewood most of the game and Lakewood is a shell of their former self. They will lose 6-7 games this year and miss the playoffs. They lost to freaking St Pete Northeast!

My only issue with this that Naples didn’t dominate Dillard by any means. If there was a full tape of that game I would dare anyone to go watch it and prove me otherwise. That game was shown from the get go that the refs was gonna do everything in their power to make sure Dillard didn’t win that game.

every positive play Dillard had it was called back. And I get it Dillard has a history of undiscipline but Friday night the refs ignored everything of Naples and hosed Dillard time after time and I hate being that one that cries “REFS” because their human and not perfect but last Friday was an embarrassment.

Naples could not match up with Dillard physically the refs and Naples coaching staff knew that  which is why they made sure that game was close in the 4th quarter. It was 19-14 Dillard in that fourth quarter until the refs took over & single handily took the Will from the Dillard players which led to a few big runs toward the end by simean that led to TD’s.

There are teams with that reputation and I believe Naples is one of them. Dillard needs to file a complaint and make sure that crew doesn’t ref their games anymore. Also head coaches from around the state need to be mindful of the reputations teams and areas have and schedule accordingly

Most def it’s like certain stuff you can’t make up like the first play of the game Dillard goes deep for 85 yards and a touchdown, called back.

two plays later Dillard picks up a 3rd and 20 the refs called it back.

naples fumbled 3x all recovered by Dillard only for the refs to say he was down.

the speed diff between Dillard and Naples was so lopsided that Dillard was about to blow that game open in the 1st quarter but the refs hand print was all over the that game. And yeah I get it you’re suppose to fight through it if you’re a great team and for 3 and a half quarters Dillard did that and tried to overcome it until their Will was just broken and Naples took advantage and made it seem as if they were just better and they weren’t which was why Dillard was still in my top 15 after all of that.

Bra and you know for the most part I hardly if ever cry refs but what I seen at Naples last week needs to be investigated. Dillard never played Naples most def not at Naples so I didn’t even know they had that reputation until @DarterBlue2 lowkey kind of hinted towards it before we played them last week.

That stuff is real. The refs were hosing Florida State against LSU all night. It was 6 penalties to 0 at halftime. They were BS calls too. And they refused to flag LSU even when it was blatant.

Luckily Florida State was able to overcome it in the 2nd half

I’ve heard about it but I never witnessed it as blatant as I did at Naples. And being that Dillard has never played or traveled to Naples u had know Idea they even had that reputation. I see now why most of their games is always at home. anytime they’re playing a south Florida school it’s always home.

BELIEVE IT. We live in a state wear literal nurses are getting fraud licenses & joining the work force but cheating officials is where some pollsters draw the line? I mean, lets get serious here. Those rural ass cities definitely have questionable officiating when it comes to playing down south school. Could just be by chance but i don’t believe in coincidence. We know whats going on.

Bro it was so bad they wasn’t even trying to hide it & then at the end of the game they had the nerve to have a police escort off the field smh

Once again, some good matchups this week. Cocoa vs STA (stack the LOS & make a mediocre QB beat u). Venice @NW(looked more inviting after the KOC). Treasure Coast vs Sanf Sem. Titans got sum skill players but that OL is quick & synchronized. Noles def a state title contender, as well as the Coast. Explorers gotta b at least -21 vs T Jesuit, that’s still living off of 1 great year…..I’d have Homestead somewhere in the bottom 25. I’d take Trin Christ out. They’ve pasted 2 patsies & lost by 3 TDS to AHP. Their schedule going forward is EASY…..Bartram Trail who look pretty good( 3 point win over Ponte Verde looked bad until PV beat Florida High!) has a chance to jump up in the rankings if they can beat Mainland. BTW has a chance to show if Harris has the Tornadoes elite again with a match vs the Rockets( who shoulda, woulda, coulda!!!!!). Lions have another chance to flex as they host nationally ranked Bergen Cath. Those Jersey teams can b tough…….

I know we lost but I just wanted to make a correction.. Jax tca lost 27-14 to AHP... So it wasn't by 3 tds

AHP actually beat St John's way worse then they beat us.. the st johns score was 45 -20... They beat St John's a nationally ranked team by 25... They beat Jax TCA by 13.... I think we are definitely still a top 25 team in FL

Damn @cribboy305, @THIS_IS_DILLARD, and @nolebull813!!! Keep it down! All this trashing refs talk is gonna release the Kracken!  Chill. Refs never ever, EVER, get a call wrong. And you three don't seem to understand that. And you NEVER will. Becasue you are not qualified to complain!

... play on

Thanks for the insight. I get when you say, if teams had their true starters healthy, they would be better teams. I agree with that for sure. But when you do not have those starters available, then you can only be judged by what you got. Not what you could have if the circumstances were different.

I think that, had they lost, or come close to losing, you'd have more of a point. They won by four touchdowns, and outgained the opponent by 3:1.

We shall see! I seem to remember another guarantee you made about the 2018 7A title back in September of that year :D

I did not have any strong feelings about St. Thomas beating Lakeland. Lakeland had soundly beaten Apopka during their regular season game, and I knew you have some potent weapons.

I admit I was very surprised by the ease with which Lakeland won, though.

Just saw the correction. SS had it 27-6. My apologies.

Cocoa is going to hammer T coast…

They beat a terrible Osceola team… wait these next few week as they lose to seminole, sta and cocoa

Kissimmee Osceola is eventually going to put everything together and gel. I’m still not ready to count them out in 4S. Don’t sleep on Treasure Coast. Their offensive line is nauseating to watch. Scoring 66 on Jesuit, even if they are heading in the wrong direction, was scary. Only guaranteed loss on that list is STA. Cocoa and Seminole look like tossups.

Treasure coast may have a chance vs sta
