So if that path continues which areas at biggest risk?

Right now, South Florida, the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico (US states or territories); Cuba, Antigua and Hispaniola (Haiti and Dominican Republic), non US.

After South Florida, it is anyone's guess as to where it goes. But from the Gulf of Mexico states, to the Mid Atlantic could be impacted at some stage later next week.

On the absurd side of things, it seems a Tampa area Publix grocery store had to call police to intervene when store customers were fighting over the establishment's last bottles of drinking water. Tampa at a minimum is 6 to 7 days from a possible strike. Come on people, the world is watching. Floridian foolishness is alive and flourishing :)

This has gotten bad folks this is hurricane Andrew 1992 all over again if not worst this is no tropical storm or a category 1 or 2 which is still bad this is a category 5 at 185 miles per hour hitting a state that's surrounded by nothing but water canals alligator ally the Everglades this storm is way worst then Harvey if this storm hits Florida anywhere near its current state it would be a deadly destruction behind

Walmart, Target here are out of bottled water. Escambia, Okaloosa are out of water at bigger establishments. My dad had cases left at Office Depot.

Edit: Walmart keeps getting pallets of water and then they're all gone by 30 minutes as lines of people wait for bottled water.

The cone of uncertainty is big, but it all depends on how the weather patterns play out. The Great Plains and Great Lakes/Canadian pressure systems will either turn Irma north to hit south Florida, keys area into Miami-Dade county. Or it may stay on course and continue westward into the gulf. High pressure systems are what hurricanes like to follow, however there is a low pressure wave that will hit the hurricane either this weekend or Monday. The question then becomes where will that low pressure system hit? The gulf? The keys? That will steer Irma north.

Okay you guys in South Florida. For those that stay... find a block or brick area to ride it out, wood homes are very risky with winds over 90 mph, good luck and stay safe.

Tip;

South Florida; if an alligator hits the side of your house, don't go outside to skin it, it's a trick the hurricane uses to try to lure you out.

Central Florida; same if a dolphin hits your house. Don't try to rescue it... it's done.

North Florida East; If FSU guy starts pounding on your door cause his wooden house blew down... let em in but lock him in the bathroom. Specially if you have $32 worth of crab legs and crawfish in the frig.

North Florida West; If a UF girl knocks on your door cause she wants to party... let her in and enjoy the show.
