Seems we have had a bad case of the Refs this year...

Lots of teams complaining about officials.

I'm not gonna waste anymore breath on it.   STA didn't deserve to win states this year, but the game was completely one sided.    Happy for the Venice kids though, they played hard.

So what is the story on BT ? I slightly remember seeing them play on ESPN vs Cartersville GA.

They rotate Qb's each series. One of them is a stud going to Auburn. Good coaching and have an offense that puts points on the score board. They also give up a lot through the air. They've had a full season to address that deficiency. Don't know if they have....

Interesting story with Bartram Trail. Some years back a BT mom decided to raise money to bring an artificial turf field to Barrow Alaska, the northernmost team in the US. Several TV and news programs have been done on the story, and a movie is currently being made in which Coach Sutherlands character will have a role. BT Coach Sutherland and the BT team hosted the Barrow Whaler football team in St. Augustine that summer and many friendships were formed. Coincidentally, the Barrow Whalers made it to their first Alaska state championship this year, where they won over Homer. Further information can be found here:
