Dillard opens up district play against Cooper City who comes in winners of 2 in a row after getting blasted by in week 1 by stoneman Douglas.

for those who remember Cooper City is the team that shocked STA @ STA for the district title a few years back.

Dillard comes in only allowing 7 points in 3 games with a lack luster offensive performance vs A Solid Miramar Team Last Week ; The panthers Made Their First national ranking debut in over the past 20 years last week As they look to get to (4-0) & push their regular season win streak to 26 in a Row. @VeniceIndiansFootball @561_Fan @DarterBlue2 @Jullian

SCORE PREDICTIONS: I’ll say DILLARD 42 COOPER CITY 3

Dillard by a running clock by either the start of the second half or early in the third quarter. How many they score depends on when the clock starts and whether Dillard decides to run the score up, or have mercy.

If they can stop getting penalties every other play I agree with you, they can have over 40 by half time if they play up to their potential.

Dillard by 35 or more. Cooper City is a far cry from years past and they need to regroup. That Won’t happen this week. Dillard 49 Cooper City 10

I’ll be highly upset if we give up that many , Miramar barely got the 7 last week & that was by penalties on our part.

im hoping for another shut out.

Dillard, 34-0.   Dillard gets 5 TD's and makes the extra point the first four times.  However, on the final TD (and with the game well out of reach), Dillard brings in the 9th grade back-up kicker and he promptly sends a screaming line drive right into the center's cheeks (which does allow the bruised long-snapper with the luxury of being able to lie on his stomach for game film tomorrow morning).

Maybe I'm wrong (and I can admit when I am), but I don't ever recall CC being a formidable opponent in football.  Anyway, this SHOULD be a blowout.  I would be disappointed if Dillard allowed 10.

You and me both but around 2010-2011 COOPER CITY went to STA and shocked them to win the district afterwards they stormed the field in excitement. But after that that yeah they haven’t been anything to smile at.

    • Yeah in the 70’s-90’s the debate will most likely be between the top 2 largest class state champs
    • 1976 - Godby HS went 14-0, defeated ledgendary Gene Cox, Leon Lions for the 1st time in school history in its last game of the regular season. Beat a Carol City Team, (that would come back the next year to win the 1977 state title), 21-15 in Lakeland, FL for the 1976 4A title. Two members of that Godby team (Sammy Knight, Chris Hobbs) would then lead FAMU to a upset win over the University of Miami. 1978 - Meritt Island - Beat Carl Madison coached (going to see the name Carl Madison alot through out the 80's),Pine Forrest for the 4A state Title 20-16 and would go on to be repeat state champs winning the 1979 state 4A state title as well, seeing Pine Forrest once again in the Finals 1979 - Merritt Island - Beat Pine Forrest 19-14 1980 - Argument could be made that 3A state Champ Gainesville HS was the states best, as they defeated Titusville on Titusville's home field 21-15, but in the end Carl Madison's (who we'll talk about again in the 80's), Tate HS has to be considered the state best destorying Miami Columbus HS 35-7! 1981 - Again 3A would again have to be where the state's best team played. Palatka after struggling in its 1st round game went on to dominate evenutally winning the state title 42-2 over Suncoast. Unlike Vero Beach (which won the 4A state itle that year), Palatka was loaded with star power, with 2 of its players eventually playing in the NFL (John L Williams, and Jarvis Williams) 1982 - Going 3A once again as Titusville would shutout 3 of its 4 playoff opponents, winning the state title over Osceola 33-0 1983 - 4A Manatee High School goes 14-0 for its 1st state title and the beginning of a dynasty through out the 80's and into the early 90's   more later.......
    • Congratulations Jambun!  That is a great honor for your Panthers.  Do you own a red tie?
