I've been trying to avoid Thursday night games for this very reason.  Easy solution is moving the deadline to 6 PM on Thursday for the week.  Alternatively I can move Columbia vs. Raines to the BONUS game and only it would be due by Thursday.

I had Boca Ciega vs. Pinellas Park as my "last out" game.

Thoughts?  I'm leaning towards moving the deadline.  Biggest impact would likely be Julian as he does his picks Friday morning.

Move the deadline. Julian can get his picks in by 6pm Thursday. That should not be too difficult.

    • I knew it wouldn't be long, before a "BULLDOG1987" sighting. Word is someone caught a whiff of him on the old Rivals message board. Carefull 'Dog our shenanigans won't fly over here at Josh's place. It's practically a Sunday school class. Please refresh my memory why we didn't get along......
    • As usual, good call Darter, 100% Some may disagree, but Apopka, Daytona Mainland, Cocoa, and Deland all have similar type athletes from similar backgrounds and life experiences. All have superb aggressive High School ball players with a chip on their shoulder. Only when the coaching staffs are up to the talent level of their home grown athletes do they win consistently. Coach Darlington's pool of players at sleepy Deland High might be smaller then what he had at Apopka. But that won't matter. When he keeps his young men home, he'll win. Take that to the bank.
    • Disregard my earlier question. But I have a different question. For those of you who already submitted picks this week...am I correct that your #1 pick is actually worth 9 points and your #8 pick is worth 16 points according to the instructions of the game? Thanks for clarifying.
    • Cocoa's D-line was very small last year, we had two guys under 200lbs on the line then. This years D-line average size is 265 lb across the line.. Cardinal Gibbons dominate in the trenches last year. I've been a major Cocoa fan since the 80's. This years 6ft5 QB is the best I've seen since 2009 and 2010. Plus he has 5 D1  receivers to throw to. This doesn't mean DJ Aurora the quarterback for the last four years wasn't good he was just too short.
    • Cocoa usually starts out slow so they will have to start out on all cylinders starting early and play mistake free. But they are definitely on a revenge tour
