I assume you're referring to Columbia vs. Madison County, right?    ColumbiaHighFan vs. Jesse!  I know it's only Tuesday, but I can't believe I haven't seen smack talk from either one of them yet.   They must both be nervous.  :D

Nolebull didn't list it because he doesn't want to bring any attention to the bet he made with me that after Columbia exceeds the win total he has to come up to Lake City for a game

Columbia and Madison is a dud. Madison looked average at best vs Fitzgerald. and It wasn’t anything Fitzgerald did. Madison looked unorganized, out coached, and undisciplined. Coach Harris looked like he didn’t know what was going on.

And Columbia is BURIED!!!!! After losing to a 1A team, we don’t talk about Columbia. They are the Bruno (Encanto reference) of HSFB!!

Columbia would need to win out just to utter a breath about them

Nah they just need to beat Madison since you were ready to rank Madison in the top 25 2 weeks ago

You can sandbag all you want but I will win the bet to get you to Lake City with games to spare

I think I said keep an eye on them. That’s it. They usually do perform like a fringe top 25 team. Usually. This year is a transition period and they aren’t playing typical Cowboy football.

You act like Columbia is some team who isn't top 300 in Florida and is never good

But the fact your now trying to downplay Madison it's because you have doubts Madison can actually beat Columbia

If I was doing a top 250 in the state, Columbia would honorable mention.

I would like to see you actually try just so I can see how much of a nolebullshit you really are trying to justify 250 teams in Florida better than Columbia

You probably gonna have a team like Eau Gallie over them just because their record is 3-0 even though their opponents have a combined 1-8 record so far and they barely beat that 1 win team lol

Even that lowndes loser on the second rate national board wouldn't even attempt to name 250 teams in Florida better than Columbia

Though that's because he isn't smart enough to name 250 teams and he would probably whine about the 20 teams he can actually remember and claim all of them have kids staying in coaches homes or apartments paid for by the school to try and discredit elite programs who deserve respect

Realistically Columbia is anywhere in the 100-150 range. That would put them most likely in the 1,500’s nationally.

If they beat Mad Co and TC and win out and finish 7-2 I could see a top 50-75 ranking going into the playoffs

People said same thing in 2017 after Columbia lost back to back games only for Columbia to win

You all said same thing in 2019 and Columbia dog walked TCA with 38 consecutive points

I would say 75-100 range honestly

DeLand looked to be as good as Union County, Columbia just played horrible in the second half of the Union game. If they played Union the way they played DeLand they would have won that game

Buchholz was just far better and Columbia was sputtering with an offense still trying to find their rhythm, we will see how the next 2 weeks go

Did that have anything to do with the BSN post today about someone attacking players?

Oh na but I want to say that was dealing with the guy that can't type coherently, that goes on about Brevard top teams being overrated and saying that they need to go metro. Even though multiple people explained to him that it doesn't work like that. Crazy part of it is that he's from Brevard and still there, Cocoa to be exact. He has that crab in a bucket mentality for real. Alot of his comments got removed so I'm assuming they banned him for 60 days.

    • My question was regarding the bold statement you made that "School Choice" is embraced by the vast majority of parents, particularly in minority families with only a single Mom raising her kids.  And I intentionally highlighted the part that says " particularly in minority families with only a single Mom raising her kids".  You cite some poll B.S about single minority mothers voting him for but gave no concrete reason nor concrete proof why they voted for him, if indeed that truly happened. Were those poll numbers broken down by the various demographics? White, Latino, Black, Asian, rich, poor, middle, straight, gay, etc? Did it show that school choice was the reason single minority mothers voted for him? It could have been any reason, but you choose to draw a strong correlation between school choice/single minority voters as the reason that demographic group voted for him. Of course someone with your abilities you know exactly what they are doing by throwing that out there.
    • Hate is a strong sentiment and definitely not my feelings towards anyone on this forum.  I am just of the mindset that difference of opinion is healthy and mocking, name calling, ridiculing and yes even hate doesn't help move your point of view forward.  When it descends to that level, it becomes a waste of time to continue to engage that person.  Regarding some of your post, I find it difficult to see some of your attempts at humor to be humorous that's all.
    • Ray, I know that you have a deep hatred for me, but I really appreciate you contributions to this message board.
    • Here is an explanation Pinstripes: California, New York, Illinois, and Minnesota are always looking for new residents, Big Shot.
    • Studies estimate that public schools may lose up to 15% of population as opposed to the 40% number in your question.  In addition, they are funding the student, not the school.   Using your 2000 number when a new public school opens, that number quickly balloons beyond that as the community grows and the excess is moved from several adjoining schools to build a new one.  That seems to imply it was deemed productive at 2000, can handle 2500 so what difference does it make where that excess population goes?  Some leave to charter, Christian or private and the number goes back to the original estimate that it was designed for.  At least, that is the logic my simple mind tells me they are using.   Undoubtedly, there will be additional cost to fund this program.  But I harken back to your original question, why is the FDOE doing this?  Is it remotely possible that many public schools are failing us?
