Well it’s no secret who I’m rooting for but outside of me being a alumn and former player I’m rooting for them for the culture. To prove you don’t have to chase and transfer to private schools for success. Especially in broward county.

Burn & bury the tape never have I ever been so embarrassed and disgusted. 3 pick 6s & a safety in the first 4 min of the game.

no energy no effort str8 quit. From the coaches to the players! I get it it was our 3rd game in 8 days but dammit atleast fight & give it your all. I knew we was the underdogs and I never predicted a win but DAM! Really??
 

fans didn’t show up to late, band didn’t come until after the 3rd qt when the game was already a running clock , just the overall energy of this game was off from the opening tip to the point I wanted to cry bra cuz I was so upset. With that said congrats to the raiders and goodnight.

Don’t pack your bags just yet. You have to take one game at a time. Yes, it was terrible, but it’s in the past now. Here’s the deal:

You’re probably going to see STA again. Have the past 10 days been miserable, yes. 3 games in 8 days is not sustainable. Your coach needs to give the team the weekend plus Monday off of practice to try to recover from this brutal stretch. Dillard will eventually see better days.

That's the problem they keep worrying about STA rematch but they never get it due to the fact they been losing in the playoffs because of that in my opinion

Who is they ? No one over here players, fans or coaches is thinking about STA unless sta is actually our next opponent.

 

you have to first make the playoffs , then beat the opponent you have in front of you before you can even fantasize about a preferred rematch. 
 

don’t get @VeniceIndianFan words of encouragement about a possible rematch with the raiders as any indication that that’s all this team is thinking about or looking forward to especially after last night. 
 

for some odd reason I know you enjoy any “L” Dillard takes especially when it’s in this fashion. But trust & believe our one & only focus is Blanche ely next week.

I’ve been in the Friday night stands in Fla since 1978. Ive seen(& coached) Dillard a hundred times, literally. Ive never seen such a horrible display of football in my 40+ years at Dillard games. Believe me when I say this, if you know Dillard’s brain trust, these coaches are gone!!!! The coaches looked as lifeless as the players. I mean NO EMOTION. NONE!!!!  Ive seen Ely twice this year & they look horrible. Right now I’d pick them over Dillard in the Soul Bowl. When they were getting their butts kicked by Norland & Creek, the coaches were all up on the players & in their face…….

Facts but I tell you what I know ONE thing! Next week is gonna tell me all I need to know about this coaching staff because if it’s ONE GAME YOU DO NOT LOSE! is soul bowl Vs them filthy foots from pompano. 
 

last year that coaching staff did that for the first time in 5 years & their gone. All from last week won’t be forgiven but most of it will if they come out & bust they ass on the field next week.

Come on man. Dillard is not ready for the STAs of the world. But they can beat middle of the road to decent teams. Create a super class and Dillard would be competitive against the rest.

What’s crazy is that it’s been years since Dillard has had this start to finish type beating, so while I was disgusted & embarrassed Friday ; I woke up Saturday understanding that for one it’s ONE game. #2 Dillard was on their 3rd game in 8 days with a team that is good but not state elite good. 
 

add that with the 3 pick 6s & a safety in the first qt , idc what team you’re or how good you’re No one is coming back from that on the road against a national power house. 
 

@DarterBlue2 as far as Dillard can’t compete with the STA of the world I half agree half disagree. The last 3 years Dillard has show. They can go toe to toe even if it’s for a half with some of the nations best. Are we good enough to beat them? Obviously not. But to say we can’t compete ? I disagree because we’ve done it.

But I would look at this game as more of an aberration, then Dillard just being that inept vs Sta. As a former player & fan of the game, sometimes you have one of those games where everything goes wrong & you’re run off the field. You see it in HS, College & the pros. You take your lumps & you use it as ammunition moving forward. Luckily for Dillard it wasn’t a playoff game & they still have one more regular season game before post season play. #Gopanthers

Perhaps I didn't put my words correctly. I have no doubt that Dillard has the potential to be an elite team in Florida. But at this moment it is not. The program has had a lot of change over the past two years. And, a lot of turnover of both players and staff since last year. It would have been easy for this to have been a rebuilding year with no playoff birth, but as of now you are almost certain to play at least one game in the post season. For @nolebull813 to suggest that Dillard should be playing 8 man ball is ridiculous and I believe he's just trolling you. 

Absent the top 16 to 20 or so teams in the state, Dillard would have a good shot at a deep playoff run in any of the classifications in the state as things stand now. Would you win out? I don't know, but you would certainly be in the conversation.
